To the 5 people who chose to Join me today.
Today is a special day for you. First because you trusted me, so I wanted to do something special, I have started 365 days of intentional giving, so each of you will receive $25.00 if you have paypal, please inbox me your email address on facebook and I will send you the money. If you don't then inbox me your address and I will mail you a gift card. Now you have two choices, you can keep the money for yourself if you need it and I am thankful to help you or you can use the money/card to give to someone else. The only thing I ask is that you post on this blog post what you did or if you kept the money just say thank you. I am looking forward to reading your post and sharing it with others. Thank you again for responding. Let's start a giving movement in our community. I pledge to give and read my other post here what has happened since I began my journey.
I love you and may God's peace be with with you today.

The Waitress bought my breakfast
Today was a reminder to me what happens when you give back. I was having breakfast and reflecting on an incredible week of giving on purpose and as I got ready to pay for my breakfast the WAITRESS said to me "Honey keep your credit card, God told me to pay for your meal!" I sat there in complete shock and with eyes full of tears and gratitude. I knew that God loved me and he always took care of me but this took the cake. He loved me enough to provide a meal for me. I almost went to Whataburger because I didn't want to spend alot of money but I changed my mind and went to Bread Winners because I wanted a healthy meal and because a still small voice told me to go. Well, my blessing was there. I can't describe how I felt when I walked out of those doors. The WAITRESS PAID FOR MY BREAKFAST that's all I kept saying to myself and God told her to do it. Has anything like that ever happened to YOU? Tell me about it, or better yet, let's do it for someone today.
If you wanna be big, You must THINK BIG!!!
A simple thank you...
What happens when you give to someone and you don't expect anything in return. Something magical!! I received a text message that said "Thank YOU" for the gift and I had totally forgotten about the gesture it happened months ago. The text made me feel so good, it reiterated my thought about giving on purpose so much so that I decided to start a journey to do good 365 times in a row (Yes, one year of good deeds).
I don't anticipate this being easy but I do expect HUGE rewards. I want to see if people will join me. So today since Alyson was kind enough to thank me, it made me look around to see what I could do for her, JUST FOR HER THANK YOU TEXT. I found another gift and chose her to be the recipient. I just thought why not do it again. When I told her I wanted to give her a gift, I heard the genuine gratitude in her voice. I didn't give her much but she made me want to give her even more. What do you have that you can give to someone else and it wouldn't hurt you to do it? Thank you Alyson for making me smile and making me realize that I have done something good in my life.

My defining moment....
I was sitting in church when my Pastor said,If you have the power to do good, then do it" It doesn't have to be something big, it doesn't have to be anything spectacular, just do something good. My niece Nay was sitting next to me and while I try to do something good all the time, periodically, I wondered what would happen if I did 365 days of good intentionally and challenged someone to join me. Needless to say, I reached down for my purse and I took out the money I had. My niece looked at me with her smile and whispered, do you wanna hear something funny I said yes. She said, before church started my brothers asked me to buy them a snicker and I didn't really to do it but I did it. She said that she when she sat down my husband gave her $20.00 and then I just gave her $40.00. This made me realize that no matter what act you do, large or small, it always comes back to you. I can't tell you how my mid started racing at church with what I could do to use my voice to help someone else.
